From renowned environmental conservation photographer Robert Glenn Ketchum, “This was my first scarf, and I was hoping to work with a printer in Suzhou where I had spent many years working with other textiles. The image was of leaves which I flipped and blended in Adobe. I also did some extreme colorizing which I thought would glow when printed on fine silk. When I showed the printer the design he said that his workshop could not print those colors, but he still wanted the job so he found me a printer in India, where I was introduced to the luxury of sari silk.”
